Dances with Golden Wolves

Today I will be sharing with you classic footage from a previous visit to Alewive Woods Preserve in Kennebunk, Maine.  It isn’t often that Humans are fortunate enough to witness Golden Wolves in their natural habitat.  Even fewer are privileged to witness their primordial dance.  Note the intricate choreography with each move showing their innate wolf instincts.  Unfortunately upon being noticed, the Golden Wolves abruptly disappeared into the deep woods, leaving the Humans in awe of what they just witnessed.  Please join us next week when we will return to posting Dog Friendly Hikes, and in the meantime check out our Maine Winter Hikes for Dogs for some great recommendations and possible Golden Wolves sightings.
