Gift of the Puppy

While Chuck Billy prepares for Santa’s visit and Mom binge watches Christmas movies, I guess that leaves me to write today’s blog.  Actually, I must admit one of the movies Mom watched got me thinking.  It was about a couple who each sold their prized possessions in order to buy the other a special gift for Christmas.  What a wonderful idea!  Chuck Billy has been so preoccupied telling me what not to do for Christmas that he neglected to mention the importance of gift giving.  However, after watching more Holiday movies than I care to admit, I realize gift giving is a major part of Christmas.

But what can a puppy with no allowance do?  Here’s where that movie proved useful.  I like that they sold their stuff to get money.  But after carefully surveying my possessions there were none that I wanted to part with.  But I couldn’t help but notice that Mom and Dad have plenty of stuff I could easily sell!  So I’m off to sell their prized possessions on Craig’s List, so I can buy them what they really want for Christmas – squeaky toys!!!  Won’t they be so surprised!  Please don’t tell them my secret.
