Puppy Karma

I stand corrected.  Asa is not a Yeti.  Nor is he a Zombie.  Asa is in fact just a Bully!  It started with a nip here and the occasional stolen toy there.  Then it escalated to my complete loss of personal space and inability to call anything my own.  Ok I admit it, I’m being bullied by a puppy.  A puppy who is barely 6 months old!

Adding to my frustration is Asa’s ability to manipulate Mom and Dad!  When they are not in the room he is stealing my toys, biting my ears, and causing me all sorts of grief.  But as soon as they enter the picture, he is cute and cuddly, obeys his commands, and will even throw in a silly gesture to make them laugh.  I’m starting to think my brother is the puppy equivalent of Eddie Haskell!  My parents are completely blind to the true nature of his character that lies beneath that fuzzy facade.

When I was a puppy Lemmy frequently accused me of being a bully.  But I was nothing compared to Asa!  However when lamenting my situation to my neighbor Milo, who knew me as a young pup, all he would say is “Karma.”  Obviously Milo just doesn’t understand because he’s never been the victim of bullying.
