The Secret to Life – Look Up!

Pssst. Asa here.  We interrupt Chuck Billy’s regularly scheduled blog post to bring you his embarassing story.  Just now we were outside in the yard, when all of the sudden we could hear dozens of squeaky toys!  Flying directly above our yard were Canadian Geese returning from their winter sojourn.  It was thrilling to hear their honks fill the sky!  And yes, I knew they were in the sky.  See unlike my big brother, who acts like he knows it all, I have discovered the secret to life – look up!  Chuck Billy, on the other hand, started running wildly around the backyard trying to figure out the source of all that squeaking and honking.

Oh my goodness it was hilarious watching Chuck Billy!  It was as if the Geese were purposely taunting him!  There he was zipping back and forth across the yard pausing to sniff our toys, and desperately trying to find where the honking was coming from.  But not once did it occur to him to look up!  Long after the Geese were gone Chuck Billy continued pacing along the fence trying to figure out what just happened.  He even got mad and started barking at me!  Now that was BOL (bark out loud) funny!

I gotta go before he sees me messing with his blog.  If he happens to mention it, pretend you read what he intended to post.  Just say his Earth Day blog on the importance of picking up poop was the most informative thing you’ve ever read…blah, blah, blah.  What really got posted will be our little secret!  Oh and speaking of secrets, looking up is why I’m better at fetch than he is!  But don’t tell Chuck Billy that!  I can’t stop laughing…  “Honk! Honk! Honk! Hey Chuck Billy, what’s that noise?!”
