Is your dog all dressed up and looking for something to do for Valentine’s Day?  Well look no further!  Here are three great events that are not only fun, the proceeds help animals in need.

February 10, 2018

Smooch Your Pooch: On Saturday, February 10, 2018, grab your pup and head on down to Super Dogs & Cats (380 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME) for their annual Smooch Your Pooch for Lucky Pup Rescue!  Jen Richardson Photography will be there to snap photos of your dog in their famous kissing booth.  Photos are only $5, and will be emailed to you in time for Valentine’s Day.  All the money raised will go directly to support our friends at Lucky Pup Rescue, making this a great Valentine’s Day gift for everyone!  The fun takes place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and all participants will be automatically entered to win one of six prizes.  The contest categories include best kisser, cutest couple, best dressed, puppy love, everlasting love, and love is a mystery.  For more information visit Lucky Pup Rescue.

Valentine’s Day Photoshoot: Ann-imals Pet Supply (1 York Street, York, ME) will be hosting a Valentine’s Photoshoot with proceeds to benefit Grateful Dog Animal Rescue.  In addition to photos there will be a kissing booth and contests.  Photos cost $10, kissing booth $2, and $2 to enter the contests, with proceeds to benefit rescue dogs in need of medical care.  The fun takes place on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  For more information visit Grateful Dog Animal Rescue.

Share the Love: The fun continues on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14, 2018 with Share the Love at Pet Life (200 Expedition Drive, Scarborough, ME) to benefit No Bowl Empty Pet Food Pantry.  Come meet No Bowl Empty’s spokespup, Nika, who will be running a kissing booth.  In addition to getting your photo taken with Nika, there will be special paw print jewelry, accessories and candy for sale that are perfect Valentine’s Day gifts.  Plus everyone who donates pet food, cat litter, pet coats or money will get a free raffle entry for one of the 2 awesome gift baskets.  The fun takes place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  For more information visit No Bowl Empty Pet Food Pantry.
