What Happens with Pepere…

Pepere is still suffering from Buck Fever, and decided to convalesce at our home.  Well much to my surprise Mom decided to take advantage of Pepere’s delicate condition, and used his visit as an opportunity for her and Dad to enjoy a rare late night out.  Now to truly understand the significance of this situation, if you haven’t already read Helicopter Dog Parents please take a moment to do so.  For you see, it is a huge event when Mom and Dad trust us with a petsitter so we can all enjoy quality time away from each other.

Now everyone knows the rule that grandparents are legally and morally responsible for spoiling their grandchildren, regardless of if they have two legs or four.  So despite wandering aimlessly in the woods all day, Pepere was up to the challenge!  I’d love to share with you the details or our fun night together, but dogs also have a code to live by, “what happens with Pepere, stays with Pepere.”  Therefore I cannot share what we did to pass the time.  I can say though that I will neither confirm nor deny some rules may have been broken that night.  Now please excuse me, I need a nap to sleep off this peanut butter hangover while Mom ponders how the recently filled treat jar is now suddenly empty and Dad wonders why there are paw prints on the couch.  Thanks Pepere!
