Dear friends, 11 years ago Angel Chuck Billy began Living with a Golden as a means to welcome me to the family, as well as to share our daily adventures, hence the name. Little did we realize it would develop into so much more! However, over 2,700 blog posts and countless photos later, we have grown too big for this website. That is why today I announce a new home for Living with a Golden on Patreon!
I promise that Living with a Golden will continue to be everything you’ve grown to expect. There will be songs! There will be adventures! There will be UFO theories and quests for Bigfoot! However, there won’t be all the error messages and issues that I’ve been dealing with behind the scenes here for quite sometime. And more importantly, it will enable me to continue Angel Chuck Billy’s legacy.
Will there be a few bumps along the road as we make this transition? Absolutely! But isn’t that part of the fun of grand adventures? Not knowing where they will lead! However, have no fear I still have my tour manager Llily Llama and producer Philip Sloth, as well as Mom and Dad to help guide me.

In keeping with the old format, I will continue to share my daily adventures at no cost to you! When new posts are available I’ll announce it on social media, including Facebook, X (Twitter) and Bluesky, so you’ll know when to log on to read them.
However, after I settle in a bit, I will be adding an exclusive Backstage Pass, where you’ll be able to access the greatest hits through a paid subscription. As I previously mentioned, my old site has become too unwieldy to navigate, and it has also become too expensive to maintain just for fun. In addition, some of my articles were being used by others who weren’t me, without giving credit. So the paywall will help protect all the years of work Angel Chuck Billy and I put into Living with a Golden, while giving you access! Don’t worry, I will keep the cost low, and you don’t have to pay to see new posts.
