A Sluggish Conversation

We interrupt our regularly scheduled post for today because I need to have a serious conversation with Asa about an incident that occurred on the way to bed last night.

Asa: Is it because I was feeling sluggish and headed up to bed early?

Chuck Billy: That’s exactly what the problem is!

Asa: I didn’t want to slug it out with you, so I thought I’d just quietly slip upstairs.

Chuck Billy: You know you can discuss anything with me.

Asa: This isn’t a slug intervention is it?

Chuck Billy: Yes, it is!

Asa: I can explain! I didn’t choose the slug life, the slug life chose me!

Chuck Billy: Regardless, smuggling a Garden Slug in your fur upstairs to the bedroom is unacceptable!

Asa: But the little slugger was cold and lonely outside!

Chuck Billy: How many times must I remind you not to bring friends you make in the yard inside the house?

Asa: Can’t we just slug and make up?

Chuck Billy: It is impossible to have a serious conversation with you!

Asa: Just be happy this didn’t turn into a slug fest! He had friends who wanted to come inside too!
