Ales for Tails 2022

Mark your calendars because Ales for Tails is back! Taking place at a new date and location, Maine’s only dog-centric beer festival will be on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse on the campus of Southern Maine Community College in South Portland. One thing hasn’t changed though, all proceeds from Ales for Tails will directly support the approximately 4,000 homeless and displaced animals cared for each year by the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland.

Ales for Tails is an afternoon of Maine-brewed beers, food trucks, and fun for humans and dogs. This year there are over 15 breweries participating and four food trucks. Tickets are $60 in advance and $70 at the door. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to attend at no additional cost. Please note, due to COVID-19, only 600 event tickets will be available. Purchasing your event ticket as soon as possible is highly encouraged because this event usually sells out. Admission includes (5) 8-ounce pours for the brewery booths, free parking, and an aluminum souvenir tasting cup. PLEASE NOTE: This is a 21+ event, so don’t forget to bring your ID.

For more information including the list of participating breweries, and to purchase your tickets, please visit Ales for Tails. For more information about their mission to help animals, visit ARLGP.org, also be sure to follow the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland on Facebook and Twitter for all the latest updates.

Sorry Chuck Billy, you can’t use your own beer stein, but admission to Ales for Tails on June 26, 2022 does include an aluminum souvenir tasting cup!
