Another Heel Against the Wall

Well it only took a few days before Asa realized I was getting treats for my extraordinary heel work and he isn’t. So once again he added his own spin on Mom and Dad’s training. Literally, he added his own spin. Now when they stop walking, he spins around in front of them to remind them he deserves a treat. In order to keep him from swinging his butt out, Mom and Dad’s trainer said they should practice their heel along a wall. Well clearly this man doesn’t know Asa, because this inspired him to write a protest song. This time Asa is parodying parts 2 and 3 of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall.”

We don’t need no heel training
We don’t need no leash control
Don’t bark sarcasm in the classroom
Trainer, leave us dogs alone!

Hey, trainer, leave us dogs alone!

All in all it’s just another heel against the wall
All in all it’s just another heel against the wall

Wrong! Do it again!
Wrong! Do it again!
If you don’t do your heel, you can’t have any treats!
How can you have any treats if you don’t do your heel?!

I don’t need no wall beside me
And I don’t need no wall to calm me
I have been walking right here all along
Don’t think I need any wall at all
No, don’t think I’ll need any wall at all

All in all it was all just another heel against the wall!

Typical Asa writing a new song in his head, rather than focusing on walking Mom.
