Asa’s Mall Mission

Mom and Dad take awesome care of Chuck Billy and me. So to thank them, I thought I’d buy them a special gift for their upcoming wedding anniversary. But what should I get them? I decided to ask the best gift giver I know, Santa! Normally I can only go to the mall in December to ask Santa these serious questions, but luckily our mall recently announced a new dog friendly policy. Therefore I grabbed my leash and headed there to seek Santa’s wisdom, but he wasn’t there!

I could have sworn this is where I visit Santa every December.

I may not have been seen Santa, but my Imaginary Friend was there to help me find the perfect gift!

Hello, Imaginary Friend! What a surprise seeing you here!

Please don’t tell my Imaginary Friend, but he wasn’t much help. He’s more of a “personal shopper” picking out things I would like, instead of something special for Mom and Dad.

This teddy bear would make a great friend for us, Imaginary Friend. However, it’s not quite what I was looking for as a gift.

This outfit would be nice for Dad. It even has plenty of pockets for poop bags! But what about a gift for Mom?

I wonder what size Dad wears?

My friend, Daisy, highly recommends this store! But is giving Mom the stuff to take a bath sending her the right message?

They are even having a sale! So I could splurge and buy that teddy bear for me too. Decisions, decisions…

I decided to keep searching. After all, this gift should be for both of them!

Perhaps these human paw prints will lead the way?

That’s when I found the perfect gift for Mom and Dad. A gift that will last a lifetime! Dancing lessons!

The perfect anniversary gift for Mom and Dad as they dance through life together!

While I’m here, perhaps I could sign myself up for some classes too?

Just what I need to help with my career as an entertainer!

Ok, I admit I may have got a little distracted and started daydreaming about being in the spotlight as a rock star.

Someday this store will sell MY albums!

Silly me for not realizing Santa takes a vacation, and expecting him to be waiting for me at the mall. I did so good at picking out Mom and Dad’s anniversary gift, Santa may even ask for my help. There’s just one problem. I don’t have any money to purchase it!

Oh well, it’s the thought that counts, right?
