Go treasure hunting this Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Animal Welfare Society’s Annual Yard Sale. You never know what you’ll find! Longtime AWS volunteer Sue, collects yard sale merchandise year round for the “yard sale to end all yard sales!” Please note that the event is taking place at 6 Hearthstone Drive, Kennebunk, Maine, and not at the AWS shelter. The yard sale begins at 8:00 AM (no early birds, please), and runs through 1:00 PM. Because all of the items are donated, 100% of the proceeds directly benefit the shelter animals. The Animal Welfare Society is also collecting donations for their booth at the Kennebunk Antique Show & Sale, August 6 and 7, 2016. Volunteers Fran and Liz are looking for vintage or high quality items such as glassware, china, pottery, small articles of furniture, framed prints, and other antiques. They are also seeking fun and interesting decorative items and one-of-a-kind donations of all kinds.
