I overheard Mom talking with a friend about their New Year’s Resolutions. They talked about changes to their diet, getting more exercise, and being more positive in the year ahead. Well those are all admirable goals, but their approach to it is all wrong. They don’t need to follow new diet trends, buy a gym membership, or read books on living happy. They just need to be more like a dog!

- Never pass up an opportunity to run and play
- Greet everyone with enthusiasm
- Don’t sweat the small stuff
- Always forgive
- Take plenty of naps
- Stop and smell the world around you
- Love unconditionally
- Follow your instincts
- Bark less, wag more
