Building Dog Workplace Morale

Mom and Dad, I’m sure you’re wondering why we called this meeting. Relax! This isn’t the usual talk where we reprimand you for serving dinner late. We can discuss that later. As you know today is National Take Your Dog to Work Day, which falls each year on the Friday after Father’s Day. However, as you also know, every day is Take Your Dog to Work Day in our household, because you both work from home. Therefore, to observe this holiday, as well as make up for the previous years, we insist that next week we celebrate Take Your Dog Out of the Office!

That’s right! For an entire week, we give you permission to take us on adventures! So clear your work schedule! Ignore those “important” emails! And pack our gear! Because we have some celebrating to do! After all, we work very hard as office dogs, supervising your every move. We deserve a break out of the office!

Our apologies to our friends that next week our posts will be sporadic, if at all. But according to our HR research, studies show that nothing builds office morale more than a change in the routine, and that applies to office dogs too! But have no fear! We’ll be back with more adventures to share!

Now Mom and Dad, before you start celebrating our big announcement, we still need to discuss dinner being served 5 seconds late yesterday…
