Can’t resist dressing your dog in a festive Holiday sweater?  Want to spread Christmas cheer with your four legged friend?  Then join us at the Christmas Prelude Pooch Parade in Kennebunkport, ME this Sunday, December 13, at 11:00 AM.  The parade starts at the Consolidated School (School Street/Route 9 East), and will wind it’s way to Dock Square via Ocean Avenue, and will finish at White Columns.  Rumor has it the parade will be lead by the Sea Dog’s mascot, Slugger!

The Pooch Parade is part of Kennebunkport’s 34th Annual Christmas Prelude.  For the complete schedule of events, please visit their website.  Our friends at the Animal Welfare Society will be serving hot chocolate and crafts from 10:00 to 2:00 in a tent at Ben and Jerry’s on Union Street.  Also following the party there will be a Pooch Parade After-Pawty from 12:00 to 2:00 at Scalawags Pet Boutique, who are the sponsors of this year’s Christmas Prelude Pooch Parade.
