Dear Grandpa Thor…

I have to admit I have a bit of a dilemma this Father’s Day.  Should I tell my biological father, Eclipse, that Momma Sage cheated on him with Asa’s father, Spenser?  Maybe I could avoid the awkwardness of telling him myself, and instead just have us all go on the Maury Povich Show?

I suppose it could be worse.  At least Asa and I can keep in touch with our fathers through social media.  My brother Lemmy never knew his father.  This led to him to wasting many hours searching for him on the internet.  Needless to say, Lemmy had a few “father issues.”  You may recall he wrote to his mother, Butter, for every holiday.  But there were times he also reached out to his grandfather, Thor.

Dear Grandpa Thor,

I just wanted to thank you for being the closest father figure in my life. Do you think my father Shamis is thinking of me today?

Say hello to my mother for me. I hope you are all well and enjoying the summer.

Tail wags, Lemmy

Dear Grandson,

Thank you for the kind words, they meant a lot even though I don’t know who you are.

Grandpa will relay your well wishes to the family.  My daughter, your mother, is a wonderful girl.

My best to you, keep up the good work, be diligent in your undertakings, study hard and of course listen to your parents.

Love, Gramps
