Get into the spirit of the season at the Dog Mountain Holiday Celebration 2017! Hosted by the Stephen Huneck Gallery and the Friends of Dog Mountain, the party takes place this Saturday, December 16, 2017 in Saint Johnsbury, VT. The fun begins at 10:00 AM with special sales and raffles at the Stephen Huneck Gallery. From 12 Noon to 5:00 PM, photographer Barry Hayes will be snapping festive holiday photos, and there will be tail wagging live music. Then at 4:00 PM, guests are invited to gather around for the tree lighting ceremony, followed by a non-denominational Blessing of the Animals with Rev. Susan Ohlidal in the Dog Chapel. The activities conclude at 5:00 PM with a favorite tradition at Dog Mountain – a bonfire! The Dog Mountain Holiday Celebration 2017 is FREE and open to everyone both with four legs and two.
Dog Mountain is home to 150 acres of meadows, trails, swimming ponds, Dog Chapel and the Stephen Huneck Gallery. The Dog Park and Chapel are free and always open to the public. Dogs are welcome to run off-leash, play, hike and best of all meet other dogs! Dog Mountain and Dog Chapel are solely supported through the sale of Stephen Huneck’s art and donations. Please help support future parties at Dog Mountain by making a tax-deductible donation. Your donations are greatly appreciated to support this dog paradise.
