Dog Mountain Summer Party 2021

What better way to celebrate the start of summer than at the Dog Mountain Founders Celebration Dog Party 2021, taking place this Saturday, June 19th, from 12 Noon to 4:00 PM! Dog Mountain founders, Stephen and Gwen Huneck, wanted to create a dog paradise on their sprawling 150 acres mountain top in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Today their legacy lives on with trails, fields, and ponds with whimsical touches of Stephen Huneck’s art scattered throughout. Dogs are welcome to run off-leash, play, swim, hike and best of all meet other dogs! Dog Mountain is also a sacred place to remember fur friends who have crossed Rainbow Bridge, at the recently lovingly restored Dog Chapel.

So pack a picnic lunch, and come celebrate the lives and loves of Dog Mountain founders, Stephen and Gwen Huneck! There will be live music, special maple treats, fun-filled dog contests, lawn games, doggie agility course, and plenty of room to run, romp, hike, and play! The event is FREE to public, and will be held rain or shine.

Also even if you’re not able to attend, be sure to purchase your Dog Party raffle tickets! The grand prize is worth over $1,200 and includes an original “Life is a Ball” woodcut by Huneck, a stay for two at Wildflower Inn, and a Makin’ Maple gift set! But act now! The deadline to purchase raffle tickets is Friday, June 18, 2021. All raffle proceeds go to support and sustain Dog Mountain.
