Are you willing to freeze your tail off for animals? Then register for the 7th annual Doggie Paddle Plunge to benefit the New Hampshire Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals! The event will take place on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the New Castle Great Island Commons (301 Wentworth Road, New Castle, NH). The event runs from 11:00 to 2:00 with the official plunge at 12 Noon. Plunger registration is $40 for adults, $30 for youths under 18, and includes lunch. Lunch guests are $10. There’s also Plunge Swag for top donors, as well as a winter warmer basket for Best Costume!
Interesting in helping the animals, but don’t want to commit to taking the plunge? Register as a Virtual Plunger for $20 and raise funds without making a splash! Or make a donation to one of the many excited Plungers to help them reach their goal! No matter what you choose, you’re supporting animals in need. Even as a virtual plunger you are still eligible to win the top fundraising prize, a one of a kind Doggie Paddle Plunge jacket!
Every person, every pledge no matter the size is appreciated in helping to reach their goal of $20,000. Funds raised will help the NHSPCA continue its mission to care for 2,500 homeless pets each year. Funds raised for the Doggie Paddle Plunge provide nourishing food, safe shelter, critical medical care, helpful behavior training, and so much more. Now this is a cause worthy of freezing your tail off! To pre-register, click here. For more information, visit the New Hampshire SPCA’s Doggie Paddle Plunge.
Please note: this is a plunge for people. Dog friends can watch from the beach but no doggie plungers, please.
