Dogs and Breweries 101

Ever want to attend one of the dog friendly brewery events we promote, but have concerns about bringing your dog? Well you’re in luck! Austin Street Brewery will be hosting a special Dogs + Breweries 101 with Kirby’s Canine Academy to help answer your questions and give you some training advice.

Kristen Renaud of Kirby’s Canine Academy will be offering a FREE 30 minute class for dogs and their owners focusing on how to bring dogs to tasting rooms. She will be discussing dog body language, general training advice and training cues to help your dog love brewery visits. Following the class there will be an opportunity to try out your new skills while enjoying special beer for the humans and homemade treats for the dogs.

Dogs + Breweries 101 will be taking place on Monday, February 24, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Austin Street Brewery (at their Industrial Way location – 1 Industrial Way, Portland, ME). The class will be taking place at approximately 6:00 PM. This is a fundraiser to benefit the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, so donations, especially canned cat food, dog food, and dog toys, would be greatly appreciated.
