Earlier this week while Mom was trying to convince Asa to declutter his toy box, she sent Dad and I down to the basement on a similar mission. However, unlike Asa who could not understand Marie Kondo’s philosophy of discard what doesn’t spark joy, Dad embraced it…perhaps a bit too much.

While sorting through all his stuff in the basement, Dad stumbled upon his old brewing supplies, which instantly brought him joy. So why stop at just removing the unwanted clutter? Why not take it to the next level and put an entire brewery in our basement? That would certainly spark joy! Ok, so we may have gone a bit overboard. Hopefully Mom won’t notice!
