WHAT? Sorry I can’t hear you over Asa’s caterwauling. Tomorrow, June 7, 2024, Bon Jovi will be releasing their new album, “Forever.” It’s a tradition in our home that every time Bon Jovi releases a new album, Asa and Mom must celebrate by playing all of their previous albums. In 40 years, according to my math that’s fifteen studio albums, three live albums, and five compilation albums. In addition there are approximately 71 music videos, and countless concerts, special appearances, interviews, and of course the documentary “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story,” which I’m sure they will insist on watching again too. Now I know what you’re thinking, it is impossible to listen to that much music before the newest album is released tomorrow. But try explaining that to Asa and Mom! It’s tradition!
However, as Asa’s tour manager, I will capitalize on his enthusiasm. Therefore, to celebrate the start of Asa’s World Tour of Maine this week, and the release of Bon Jovi’s Forever, here is my brother’s paw pounding parody of Bon Jovi’s “Living on a Prayer.” So get ready to rock to Hiking on This Trail!
