Fun Dog Day 2019

Grab your leashes and head to the Oxford Fairgrounds for the the 7th Annual Fun Dog Day!  This tail wagging fundraiser will be taking place on Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Oxford Fairgrounds (68 Pottle Road, Oxford, ME).  Hosted by Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills, Fun Dog Day has something for every member of your family with two legs and four.

In addition to the sponsored dog walk, there will be shopping with local vendors and crafters, delicious food, and activities for kids in the Pup Tent. For four legged attendees, there will be games and activities, as well as Wayne’s Water World to keep your dog cool and refreshed.  For a small donation, Furry Kids Pet Photography will take a keepsake photo of you and your pup at Fun Dog Day.  Also don’t forget to enter your pet into the dog show with a variety of categories so that every pup participating can shine!

Also for the second year in a row, there will be a Poker Walk! An envelope with 3 cards will be given as each “hand” at the start of the walk, with 4 additional cards being picked up at stations along the route.  The best 5 cards out of 7 will be posted, and the top two winners will get cash prizes!  To enter the Poker Walk you must be 18 years or older, and the cost is $10 per hand.  Registration will be between 9:45 AM and 10:15 at the Oxford Fair Grounds.

The Fundraiser 1k Walk is open to all ages. Registration begins at 10:00 AM, and steps off at approximately 10:30 AM.  But why wait? You can download a pledge sheet now and start raising money to support the animals being helped by Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills. There will be prizes for the top fundraisers, so be sure to ask your friends to pledge!

Entry to Fun Dog Day is a suggested donation of $3 a person or $10 for a carload.  All proceeds from the 7th Annual Fun Dog Day will benefit the important work of Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills.
