Who said nothing good ever happens on a Monday? This Monday Sopo Wine Co is presenting Good Wine for a Good Cause to benefit the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland. Come raise a glass to support pets in need on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grace Restaurant in Portland (15 Chestnut Street, Portland, ME).
More than 25 wineries will participate, with unlimited tastings for event attendees. Light hors d’oeuvres provided. Space is limited, so reserve your tickets today! Advance tickets are $35 per person. At the door only 25 tickets will be available at $40 per person. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A 21+ EVENT, and no pets allowed.
The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland provides temporary care and shelter for stray, abandoned, confiscated and relinquished animals, and places as many pets as possible into responsible and caring homes. They also create awareness and support for the humane treatment of all animals, and strive to end animal overpopulation through education and the promotion of spaying and neutering. In 2018 a total of 4,026 animals were adopted into loving homes through ARLGP, including 1,344 dogs, 2,610 cats, and 259 small animals.
