Haunted Dog House: Super Dogs and Cats (380 Elm St., Biddeford, ME) will once again host this annual fundraiser for Lucky Pup Rescue on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. For a $5 donation they will take your dog’s picture in their Haunted Dog House, and will email you the file before Halloween so you can share the ghoulish goodness. There will also be prizes for Best Costume, Best Howl, and Best Trick for a Treat. All proceeds benefit Lucky Pup Rescue.
Dogtoberfest: Help raise money for the NHSPCA at Dogtoberfest. Cisco Brewers will be donating $1 of every pint sold to the New Hampshire SPCA! This outdoor event will have live music, local vendors, lawn games and a doggy costume contest! The event takes place at Cisco Brewers (35 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH) on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Halloween Pawty and Pet Parade: Join Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue at the 2nd Annual Halloween Pawty and Pet Parade hosted by Quite Fetching Bakery and Pet Boutique (1 Grafton Common, Grafton, MA) from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 26, 2019. This year’s theme is the 1950s, and there will be vendors, costume contests, a pet parade, so much more!
Haunted Hounds Dog Parade: The Boxer Rescue will be hosting their 2nd Annual Haunted Hounds Dog Parade. Taking place this Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event begins with a children’s costume parade, activities and trick or treating. The Dog Parade steps off at 1:00 PM. The event is free and takes place at Tower Hill Botanic Garden (11 French Dr., Boylston, MA) with all proceeds to benefit The Boxer Rescue, whose mission is to protect and serve the boxer breed in New England.

Howl-o-Ween: The 3rd Annual Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume Parade and Walk around Coolidge Park (198 Townsend St. Fitburg, MA) will be taking place on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. There will be costume contest prizes for both dogs and humans, giveaways, games and vendors, with proceeds to benefit Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog, who provides bullet proof vests and essential gear to Massachusetts police dogs.
Dogtoberfest at Ogunquitfest: As part of Ogunquitfest on Sunday, October 27, 2019, there will be a costume parade for humans and dogs. The parade begins at the Ogunquit Village School (18 School Street, Ogunquit, ME) at 11:00 AM and marches to Main Beach, with a rain location of under the tents at the Main Beach Parking Lot. Then from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM there will be a Dogtoberfest Pooch Costume Contest at the end of Beach Street. Join in the fun and see if your dog can win the bragging rights of “Ogunquit’s Best Dressed Dog!” Although not a fundraiser like the other events listed for this weekend, this free event is guaranteed to also be a tail wagging good time.
