Help Stock the Shelves

In the coming days we will be busy shopping for our Thanksgiving meals and upcoming Holiday parties.  While doing so please take a moment to buy pet food to help our furry friends who will be spending the Holidays at an animal shelter.  Our local animal shelters depend heavily on donations to feed the animals that are in their care.  With so many mouths to feed, many are desperately low on food to meet the demand.

This is a busy time of year for people.  With so many charities asking for help, we’d just like to remind you about how grateful shelter pets are for your donations in providing their daily meals.  Most animals aren’t picky eaters, and there are many popular brands sold at grocery stores.  Or please consider donating a gift card to a grocery or pet store so that the shelter volunteers can purchase exactly what they need to feed puppies and kittens with voracious appetites, senior dogs and cats with sensitive stomachs, and other animals such as rabbits who would enjoy fresh produce this Thanksgiving.  The following is a list of just some of the local animal shelters that would appreciate your donations.  Please contact them directly for specific information:

Don’t forget alfalfa cubes and other hard chew toys for bunnies and piggies to help maintain dental health!
