The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal (MSPCA) at Nevins Farm will once again be selling handmade wreaths made to order this Holiday season. For just $16.95 (including tax) receive a beautiful wreath made with balsam boughs, a festive red bow, and real pine cones. Wreaths will be available for pick up (sorry, no shipping available) at the Noble Family Adoption Center at Nevins Farm (400 Broadway, Methuen, MA) during public hours (Tues – Fri from 1-5pm, weekends from 12-4pm) and Hillside Acre Animal Cemetery (Mon – Fri from 8:30am-5pm) beginning on November 29, 2019. You can also request a wreath to be placed at an unattended burial site of a once-loved pet without family to visit, at their Hillside Acre Animal Cemetery. The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire (545 Route 101, Bedford, NH) will be having their annual Holiday Tree and Wreath Sales with proceeds to benefit the important work they do helping animals in need. They will have beautiful balsam fir holiday trees (6′-8′ and 9′ and above) and wreaths available in the afternoons on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s beginning on November 30 through December 24, 2019, or while supplies last. The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland will be hosting their annual Holiday Open House event on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at their Arthur P. Girard Adoption Center (217 Landing Road. Westbrook, ME). Their Open House will feature Maine Christmas trees ($50), wreaths ($20 – $30), and garland, as well as a variety of tabletop greens, handcrafted gifts (knitwear, pottery, ornaments, decor, etc), stocking stuffers, and pet themed gift baskets.
