Asa, you do realize why I called you into my office today? We need to have a little chat about your job performance this weekend. As you know, we experienced a rare geomagnetic storm Friday night. Not just any geomagnetic storm, a G4 (Kp8), making the Aurora Borealis visible over most of the country. As a Dog Ufologist, it is important I witness such an event, to advance my research. But did I witness these colorful lights?

Asa: *looking rather confused* No.

Chuck Billy: You are correct. I did not see this rare phenomenon. Why did I not see it?

Asa: Because you were sleeping. *still confused by the unexpected quiz*

Chuck Billy: Correct. And why was I sleeping?

Asa: Because you were tired! *feeling overly confident that for once he would pass Chuck Billy’s quiz*

Chuck Billy: WRONG!!! Because YOU didn’t wake me! I gave you ONE job! And you didn’t do it! Because of you, I missed the Aurora Borealis! You wake us up at all hours of the night on a regular basis. Why on this monumental weekend did you let us all sleep?

Asa: Well, you’re always telling me I should let Mom sleep, and it was Mother’s Day weekend. I thought that would be my gift for Mom! If I woke you, well then she’d hear, come check on us, and well what kind of a gift is that? It would be like any other night, but with pretty lights in the night sky! *wondering if he’d get extra credit for answering his own question*
