I Know It Is Out There

Well I *may* not have discovered Bigfoot on my hike, but while Asa was making beach buddies with the deer and the sandpipers on vacation, I was making important discoveries! I tracked a species that up until now was not known to inhabit the Maine woods! A creature far rarer than Bigfoot!

When I first spotted the tracks, I knew for certain that I had discovered evidence of a Pterodactyl, last seen 201.3 million years to 136.4 million years ago!

I mean, look at the size of these tracks compared to my paw! This creature is huge!

However, Asa “accidentally” trodded on the tracks, and ruined my evidence.

Would you believe that Asa claimed what I really was following were the prints of wild turkeys trotting along the beach? I laughed at his suggestion.

But alas, the sun was setting and it was too dangerous to continue tracking this prehistoric beast in the dark.

That is until I looked up and saw the Pterodactyl flying away into the night. Just look at that wingspan! You see it too, right?

Asa: My apologies to the turkeys for disturbing your evening stroll, and for Chuck Billy’s ridiculous theory. But you know how his overactive imagination gets when he is convinced of some new discovery.

Chuck Billy: I stand by my convictions, despite the naysayer. I know what I saw!
