In the Cone Again

Well as you can see by the photo once again Asa is in the cone of shame.  Don’t worry!  He’s not injured.  Asa just has a couple of hot spots that he won’t stop scratching.  So to prevent further irritation, when Mom and Dad can’t keep an eye on him he has to wear the cone of shame.  As usual, Asa isn’t troubled by this at all.  In fact he is using this opportunity to once again make a new song parody.  My sincere apologies to all Willie Nelson fans for Asa’s reinterpretation of “On the Road Again,” with In the Cone Again.

In the cone again –

My Mom put me in the cone of shame again

‘Cause I can’t stop from scratching my back end

My Mom put me in the cone again.

In the cone again –

Scratching places I have never seen

Itching things that I may never itch again

And here I am in the cone again!

In the cone again –

Itching my new hot spot I roll on the carpet

We’re the best of friends

Insisting that I keep scratching it Mom’s way

And her way

Is in the cone again

My Mom put me in the cone of shame again

‘Cause I can’t stop from scratching my back end

And I can’t wait to get out of the cone again!

In the cone again

Itching my new hot spot I roll on the carpet

We’re the best of friends

Insisting that I keep scratching it Mom’s way

And her way

Is in the cone again

My Mom put me in the cone of shame again

‘Cause I can’t stop from scratching my back end

My Mom put me in the cone again

And I can’t wait to get out of the cone again!

Asa, must you make up a song for everything?! Chuck Billy, tell them about my dance moves during the music interlude!
