Informal New England Golden Jubilee 2021

The traditional New England Golden Jubilee celebration is still on pause. However, there will be an informal Golden Retriever gathering this Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Dog Mountain. Although there will be no planned program, no fundraising auction or cookout, there will be tail wags as you greet old friends and make new ones at this informal gathering. There will also be swimming, hiking, and shopping at the Stephen Huneck Art Gallery. As well as quiet moments of reflection in Dog Chapel. Sure it won’t be like previous years, while we continue to play it safe. However, being mindful of Covid safety precautions, it is a nice way to spend the day enjoying all things Golden. And yes, there will be tennis balls!

Together Again, Covid Safe New England Golden Jubilee Gathering will be taking place this Saturday, May 15, 2021, starting at 12 Noon, at Dog Mountain, in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont. No registration is needed. For more information, please visit New England Golden Jubilee. Also a huge thank you to Dog Mountain, Home of Stephen Huneck Gallery for hosting this annual event.

Asa and I will have to sit this one out this year. However, if you’re like us, and cannot attend this year, relive the magic of previous years with the photographs by Linda Hadwen and Stew Stryker at NewEnglandGoldenJubilee.com.

Also don’t forget to mark your calendar for the 8th Annual New England Golden Jubilee on May 21, 2022!
