I interrupt the hiking review scheduled for today with an exciting announcement – It’s MY Birthday!  Six years ago today I made my grand entrance into the world!  Originally known as “Little Man” by my litter mates, I remember my whelping box days vividly.  Ok, well maybe not vividly, it was a couple of weeks before I actually opened my eyes.  But after that, look out world!  In my six short years I’ve conquered mountains, swam in the vast ocean, became Chief Executive Dog of my own blog, all while protecting my family from foes both real and imaginary.

Last week I shared a video of Asa’s first year.  Today I’m sharing an old home movie of my puppy days.  Not to brag, but you can clearly see by this footage that I was a perfectly well-behaved puppy destined for greatness.  Not sure why Lemmy was so cranky with me all the time.  Anyways, rumor has it that there is cake downstairs, so let’s get this party started!
