Kingman Farm Trail in Madbury, New Hampshire offers open fields and wooded trails for dog friendly hiking. Consisting of 334 acres, there is an extensive trail system ideal for walking your dog, as well as open fields for running and playing. Owned by the University of New Hampshire and used for educational and research purposes, the Trailhead can be found on Route 155 next to a small parking lot.
Although rules state that dogs must remain on-leash, we met many dogs off-leash enjoying the trails. Please note though, because Kingman Farm Trail is used for educational purposes your dogs must be respectful of items being used by students for experiments. Also on our walk we stumbled upon an extensive composting area that made us relieved our dogs were leashed!
