If your New Year’s resolution is to be healthier in 2020, a good way to start is by taking one of these classes on Pet CPR and First Aid. A study by the American Animal Hospital Association has shown that 60% of all animal hospital visits are emergency in nature and that 1 out of 4 more pet’s lives could be saved if just one first aid technique was delivered before veterinary care. Bedford, NH: Healthy Pets NH’s CPR and First Aid Class for Pets taught by April Begosh is a 6 hour hands-on workshop that covers everything from basic first aid to what to do in an emergency situation, and is a must for all pet owners.  The workshop moves quickly and a lot of valuable information presented in an easy to understand approach through lecture, demonstrations and hands-on practice.  April also gears the class to fit the needs of the participants and their specific questions.  Although this is a serious subject, April’s approach is at times lighthearted, and does involve a cat joke or two.  For a complete list of topics to be covered, please visit Healthy Pets NH.
