I wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t see it with my own eyes! A stuffed animal came to life at this weekend’s Santa Paws Fest for Lucky Pup Rescue! Here is Asa’s version of this magical experience as sung to the tune of “Frosty the Snowman.”
Lucky the stuffie
Was a jolly happy soul
With two floppy ears
And big fuzzy paws
And a plastic button nose
Lucky the stuffie
Is a fairy tale they say
He was made of fluff
But the puppies know
How he came to life one day
There must have been some magic
At that festival of trees
For when Lucky walked inside
He began to dance around
Lucky the stuffie
Was alive as he could be
And the puppies say
He could bark and play
Just the same as you and me
Lucky the stuffie
Knew the festival was just that day
So he said, “Let’s run
And we’ll have some fun
Now before the trees go away.”
Down through the aisles
With the puppies following him
Running here and there
All around the fair
Barking “Catch me if you can!”
He jumped and rolled upon the floor
In front of Santa Claus
And he only paused a moment when
He heard the cameras click!
Lucky the stuffie
Had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye saying,
“Don’t you bark
I’ll be back again some day!”
Thumpity, thump, thump
Thumpity, thump, thump
Look at Lucky wag
Thumpity, thump, thump
Thumpity, thump, thump
Luckiest pup of all!
