Recently we learned about Mollie’s 7th Annual Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog Fundraiser, which raises money to help purchase essential equipment for one Massachusetts K9 Unit per year. For seven years now Mollie has asked her friends and family to give donations to Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog, in lieu of birthday gifts. Her first year, she raised $500 to purchase lifesaving gear for the Wareham Police Department’s K9. Since that time her fundraiser has grown bigger and better each year. In fact last year Mollie’s Annual Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog Fundraiser raised $10,000 for specialized essential police dog/K-9 agility training equipment for Plymouth County Area K9 Units! This year will be Mollie’s sweet 16th birthday, and her goal is to raise $10,000 for the Massachusetts Environmental Police K9s and other local K9s. And you can help her achieve this goal!
On Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Mollie’s 7th Annual Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog fundraiser will be taking place at the Bridgewater Vets Club (85 Cottage St, Bridgewater, MA). There will be music, dancing, K9 demonstrations, face painting, raffles and more, with 100% of donations this year to support the MA Environmental Police K9s and other local K9s. Tickets will be available at the door for $20 per adult and $10 per child.
If you’d like to support this great fundraiser to help these hardworking dogs, but cannot make it to Mollie’s party, you can also donate directly to Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog via PayPal, using a credit card. Or mail a check to MA Vest-A-Dog, Inc. (233 Broad St. Ste #13, #118, Bridgewater, MA 02324). Please be sure to include “Mollie” in the memo line of your check. Together, we can help Mollie reach her goal of “helping police dogs one paw at a time!”
