Martinis for Mutts will take place on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the outdoor dining area at the Regency Hotel and Spa in downtown Portland (20 Milk St., Portland, ME) from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Tickets are $35 per human, and canine guests are free. The ticket includes valet parking, one signature event Mutt-tini and delicious hors d’oeuvres. There is a rain date of Thursday, July 25th. The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland provides temporary care and shelter for stray, abandoned, confiscated and relinquished animals, and places as many pets as possible into responsible and caring homes. They also create awareness and support for the humane treatment of all animals, and strive to end animal overpopulation through education and the promotion of spaying and neutering. In 2018 a total of 4,026 animals were adopted into loving homes through ARLGP, including 1,344 dogs, 2,610 cats, and 259 small animals.
