Music for Mutts 2017

Come listen to great music, enjoy craft beers, and save a life!  Music for Mutts will be taking place this Sunday, July 9, 2017 at One Longfellow Square (181 State Street, Portland, ME) to benefit the important mission of The Green Ark to rescue at-risk pets in high kill shelters from being euthanized.  “Yappy Hour” will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and will feature local craft “bark brews” and a few special “woof-tinis.”  The 90 minute show will start at 2:00, and features amazing talent from Maine and New York.  There will also be a 50/50 raffle, and an opportunity to meet and snuggle with some of the dogs The Green Ark has available for adoption.

Tickets are $10 in advance, and $12 at the door.  All proceeds to benefit The Green Ark.  Please note, this family friendly event is Humans Only.  Please leave your dogs at home while you enjoy this great afternoon of music.

Founded in 2013, The Green Ark is an eco-friendly non-profit rescue group dedicated to saving the lives of animals who are in danger of being euthanized in high kill shelters.  The volunteers at The Green Ark believe that every animal’s life is worth saving without question, and it is their goal to rescue as many of these animals as they possibly can.  The Green Ark’s ultimate goal is to build an animal sanctuary that is completely self-sustainable and open to all animals in need.  For more information about The Green Ark and to purchase Music for Mutts tickets, please visit TheGreenArk.ME.  Also be sure to follow The Green Ark on Facebook to meet a few of the furry friends available for adoption and learn other ways that you can help this small rescue organization in Portland, Maine.

Enjoy a “bark brew” and “woof-tinis,” while listening to good music and helping a great cause at Music for Mutts.  Sorry Chuck Billy, no pets allowed.
