My Incident at Exeter 2015

Recently I was asked how I became a renown Dog Ufologist.  It all happened at that incident in Exeter.  No, I’m not talking about the infamous UFO sighting that occurred in Exeter, New Hampshire in 1965.  I’m referring to my attendance at the Exeter UFO Festival in 2015.  The Exeter UFO Festival is an annual event hosted by the Kiwanis Club, in which esteemed ufologists and journalists share their research on Aliens and UFO sightings.  There are also many family friendly events, including an Alien Pet Costume Contest.  I find this contest fascinating because I didn’t know Aliens even had pets!  But I digress.  The Exeter UFO Festival is an educational experience for both believers and skeptics, and a fun time for families.  However, there is one glaring problem.  Dogs are NOT allowed to go inside town hall to attend the lecture series!  The following is my account from 2015.  After that experience I vowed to do whatever it takes to advance my theories.  If you would like to learn more about this year’s festival, taking place on Labor Day Weekend, September 1-2, 2018, please visit the Exeter UFO Festival.

Close Encounter (September 2015)

This weekend we attended the the UFO Festival in Exeter, New Hampshire.  Finally I had the opportunity to hang out with like-minded individuals, while spreading the word on the dangers of dog abductions by UFOs.  But as usual Asa ruined everything!  As soon as we arrived he was the center of attention.  He was even interviewed by not one, but two reporters on his UFO experiences!  Asa can’t even spell UFO!

Worst yet, Asa also made friends with a “Man in Black” who may or may not be working for the Aliens and/or the government.  This man claimed he was writing a TV pilot about an investigator and his dog’s quest to find UFOs.  He even said he was still looking to cast the role of the dog!  A likely ruse to get Asa into his UFO.  That reminds me, I need to talk to Asa about stranger danger.

“Men in Black: (n) anonymous dark-clothed men who supposedly visit people who have reported an encounter with a UFO or an alien in order to prevent their publicizing it.”

I did briefly debate sneaking past the line to get into the lectures, while Asa provided a distraction.  However, I was afraid he’d hitch a ride on a UFO if I didn’t supervise him.  Although he’s annoying, I’m rather attached to the little guy.

Debating jumping the line and sneaking into the lectures while Mom and Dad were distracted by Asa.

Despite Asa, I did manage to enjoy myself.  I met an interesting gentleman who told me all about his UFO sightings over seacoast New Hampshire and southern Maine.  You can’t even begin to image my relief when he told me my town in Maine was not a UFO hotspot.  However, I have to admit I am a bit disappointed that he did not believe my story of being abducted by Aliens at the veterinarian’s office.  I even have a microchip implanted between my shoulder blades as proof!  Regardless of his opinion though, the truth is out there.  My quest continues…

Teaching Asa that Aliens and UFO abductions are serious business.

Please visit the Exeter UFO Festival for more information on this year’s schedule. Proceeds to benefit local children’s charities.
