At approximately 6:30 AM on the morning of September 2, 2020 after returning from neighborhood patrol, I received a report by concerned citizen Mom that bloody paw prints were found in the living room. This sounds like a case for Detective Chuck Billy! I immediately secured the area so that myself and my assistant, Asa, could begin our investigation.
I tracked the paw prints around the living room, through the kitchen, and to the backdoor. The perpetrator appeared to have also paused by our living room windows, to perhaps alert more of his crew. Clearly whoever left these bloody paw prints must have injured themselves before entering our home.
That was when Asa brought it to my attention that while I was investigating, more bloody paw prints were appearing on the living room rug and kitchen floor. This can only mean one thing, that our injured intruder is invisible! Now if you’ll please excuse me, I need to have a little chat with Asa to stop destroying the evidence by licking it. Then I’m heading over to Dr. Doug to have the blood samples tested for DNA.
Editor’s Note: Detective Chuck Billy is actually the source of the bloody paw prints. For the past few months we’ve been monitoring a lump on the bottom of his paw that would occasionally bleed. Today Chuck Billy is having surgery to remove the lump. We ask that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you!
