According to UKG’s annual Super Bowl Absenteeism Survey, it is estimated that 26.2 million people will not go to work today after staying up late to watch last night’s football. Although Mom and Dad are at their desks today working, I will nap in solidarity with those who decided to stay home. I even wrote a parody to AC/DC’s 1976 classic, “Jailbreak,” to lull us all back to sleep after staying up well past our bedtimes.

There was the Super Bowl on last night
And I stayed up and watched it all

For watching them throw a ball
I said, “I can’t keep my eye open”

I’m taking a nap instead!
