We at Living With a Golden love all breeds of dogs, and are interested in learning more about them.  This weekend, September 19 and 20, 2015, is the 20th annual Newfie Fun Days at the Piscataqua Boat Basin and Park (90 Hammond Lane) Eliot, Maine.  Newfie Fun Days is a celebration of the Newfoundland Dog, with carting and water rescue demos, health and wellness seminars, local pet friendly vendors, CGC testing, special rescue forum, animal communication readings, professional pet portraits, brown bag raffle and more!  So whether or not your dog is a Newfie, come learn about this beautiful breed of gentle giants.  The event is free, but donations are greatly appreciated and will benefit the Newfoundland Club of America Health Challenge, Newfoundland Club of New England Rescue & Referral Service, Atlantic Newfoundland Club Rescue and The Betty Trott Memorial Fund.
