Alright dogs, listen up! This is not a drill! I have found where all our bacon dreams can come true! It is Oscar’s Adirondack Smoke House in Warrensburg, New York! While on vacation we stopped there because Dad saw the sign “Hams-Bacon,” and just had to investigate.

At first it seemed like any other food stop, until I read the sign on the door, “Over 9 Million lbs of Bacon Sold.” Is that in a day? Week? Month? Ok, so it says they’ve been in business for over 80 years, so maybe that is cumulative. Regardless, they have bacon and lots of it!

However, I also spied two concerning signs. One said, “no pets allowed.” The other said, “shirt, shoes and pants required to enter.”

Dogs, we have come too far to be defeated by a couple of signs! I have a plan! We will wear shirts, shoes, and pants as required, and in doing so it will hide our paws and tails. We will also wear large floppy hats and sunglasses to further disguise our appearance, and fit in with the constant flow of happy customers entering the store. They’ll be none the wiser that we are dogs!
