Celebrate Patriots Day at the 7th Annual Patriotic Pooch Pageant and Fashion Show!  Does your dog dream of dressing up as his favorite President?  Or has a favorite red, white and blue outfit that she loves to show off?  Then head on down to the parking lot at Liquid Dreams Surf Shop in Ogunquit (696 Main Street US Route 1) this Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 12:30 PM!

There will be two costume categories: Patriotic (red, white, and blue) and Favorite American.  In previous years, Abraham Lincoln, Marilyn Monroe and John Wayne have all strutted their stuff for the judges!  Prizes will be awarded for most patriotic costume and best costume impersonation.  The event is FREE!  Registration begins at 12:20 PM, with judging starting at 12:30 (weather permitting).  The Animal Welfare Society will also be there with patriotic pups hoping for a forever home.

The Patriotic Pooch Pageant and Fashion Show is part of the 28th Annual Patriots Day Weekend Celebration in Ogunquit.  In addition to the costume contest for pups, there are other outdoor dog friendly activities this weekend including historical building hunt, and historical reenactments of the Boston Tea Party and Washington Crossing the Delaware!  For the complete schedule of activities taking place April 13 – 15, please visit the Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce.
