Attention Massachusetts Dogs! Don’t miss the biggest dog festival of the summer at Paw Palooza! There will be dock diving, with dogs coming from all over the country to compete, as well as stunt dog performances, and K9 demonstrations. This two day festival has a lot of dog friendly activities including pupcasso art making, a kissing booth, and doggie caricatures. The Orleans Police Department will even be there with their radar gun to clock how fast you can chase down a tennis ball! You are also invited to try your paw at chasing a lure through a professional course and show off your agility skills. Be sure to bring the kids too so they can learn to make a fun tug toy, and have their face painted to look just like you, among other fun activities in the Kid Zone. For the adults there will be informative seminars at Dog University, over 70 pet related vendors, and lots of delicious food. Also be sure to head over to the misting tent to cool off, and treat yourself to a doggie massage and a blueberry puppy facial.
Paw Palooza takes place this Saturday and Sunday, July 14 and 15, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School (210 Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA). Admission is $7.00, and kids under age 12, as well as all dogs, are free. Hosted by The Agway of Cape Cod Charitable Foundation, this not to be missed event benefits The Cape’s two largest animal shelters, the MSPCA in Centerville and the Animal Rescue League of Boston’s shelter in Brewster.
