Knowing the basics of Pet First Aid and CPR are important for all pet owners. This Sunday, April 10, 2016, the Cocheco Valley Humane Society in Dover, NH will be hosting a Pet First Aid and CPR class with Healthy Pets NH, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. April Begosh of Healthy Pets NH will be teaching this five hour class, which includes information on how to provide basic emergency and first aid care for pets prior to veterinary care. Research by the American Animal Hospital Association has shown that 60% of all animal hospital visits are emergency in nature and that 1 out of 4 more pet’s lives could be saved if just one first aid technique was delivered before veterinary care. The cost is $65 and includes a workbook and $20 donation to the Cocheco Valley Humane Society. Lunch will be provided. Please do not bring your pets.
