This week we’ve seen tweets about blistering hot temperatures across Europe and the United States.  We’ve also read posts reminding us that there are only 5 shopping months until Christmas. This inspired Asa to combine the two and write a duet with Mom dedicated to summer and set to the tune of the Holiday classic, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” I hope you enjoy his parody destined to become a summertime favorite, or perhaps just an annoying earworm for today.

The weather is great (Great to stay inside)

Maybe we’ll wait a half hour more (Please get away from that door)

It’s time for a dip (Puppy, it’s 102 out there)

I’ll do my backflip (I’d rather you stay in here)

I wish I knew how (Let’s play inside right now)

To do the backstroke (Puppy, you’ll give me heatstroke)
