This month we’ll be taking a break from reviewing Dog Friendly Places, and instead would like to share with you locally made dog products that we enjoy. Purely Oh Dog Bakery, based out of Fremont, NH, offers delicious homemade dog treats. What makes these treats extra special is their mission is to provide limited ingredients, all-natural, grain-free, gluten-free dog biscuits and treats for dogs who suffer from food allergies and sensitivities. As owner, Sarah Desiderio, explained in a previous interview, Purely Oh Dog Bakery is the result of years of research and testing, trying to come up with treats that her food sensitive white boxer, Oscar, could eat. Based on her frustration trying to find commercially made treats that Oscar could digest, she realized that there are many other food sensitive dogs out there that would appreciate her homemade treats. Also Sarah likes to give back to the local community by using New Hampshire ingredients and services whenever possible.
For the Holiday season Purely Oh Dog Bakery is offering a special assortment of crispy Christmas cookies with carob finishing touches. Purely Oh Dog also makes many other treats including Apple Paws, Bacon Crisps, and Chuck Billy and Asa’s favorite – Peanut Butter Bones.
Pre-Order now for the Holidays no later than Friday, December 18th. All orders will be baked fresh for shipping by mid-December, or as requested. For the Holidays there is free shipping for orders with a minimum $20 purchase. Purely Oh Dog treats can also be purchased at these New Hampshire stores: Play All Day Doggy Daycare in Exeter, New Hampshire’s Finest Marketplace in Litchfield, Calef’s Country Store in Barrington, Canine Cupboard in Portsmouth, and Club Canine Dog Wash & Day Spa in Portsmouth. Sarah will also be selling her all-natural dog treats at the New England Holiday Craft Spectacular (Dec. 5 & 6) in Salem, NH; and at the Bishop Brady HS’s Christmas Craft Fair (Dec. 12) in Concord, NH.
