School buses are awesome!  It is the ultimate car ride for dogs: They are filled with kids who want to play.  Kids who are easily distracted and may lose track of their delicious lunches and snacks.  And unlike Mom and Dad’s cars, school buses have a runway straight down the middle for dogs to stretch their legs on long trips.  What could be better than that?!  Further proof that school buses are wonderful, is the fact that like all awesome things, including restaurants and public swimming pools, humans want to keep them for themselves and not share.  Not fair!  But this year I have a plan!  I’m going to disguise myself as a student, and wait patiently at my front door for the bus to come and pick me up.  Surely with all those kids on the bus, the driver is distracted and won’t notice my tail.  Paws crossed this works…
