Our kitty cousins, Vegas and Kaz, are typical teenagers. Despite not visiting for over a year, at ages 16 and 13, they thought they were too cool to hang out with their younger cousins, namely Asa and myself. But that didn’t stop us from trying to find out where they were hiding during our visit with our grandparents, Babci and Pepere.
Cats don’t swim, so clearly they aren’t in the lake.
Inside the house, I examined their water bowl…
…while Asa searched for any treats they may have left for us.
After a quick snack break with Pepere, we continued searching.
While I sniffed on top of the rugs…
…Asa searched underneath them in case they were hiding there.
Asa then tried to lure them out of hiding with a slipper to play with, but our grandparents told him cats don’t play with them.
Then our grandmother, Babci, had the brilliant idea of taking out a toy box full of squeakies that our other cousins, Huskies, play with when visiting.
Who can resist squeaky toys? Cats! That’s who! Despite all that squeaking, our kitty cousins didn’t join us.
We may not have seen Vegas and Kaz during this visit, or any other visit for that matter, but we sure had a great time with our grandparents, Babci and Pepere!
